This fottage was recorded with my mobile camera during walks in 2018, while Gellerup was under renovation. During the redevelopment, Gellerup was transformed from a run-down residential area into a new, attractive place to live. to become an attractive and integrated part of the city of Aarhus. To visually support and describe this transformation and intention, I edited the existing material and mixed it with makeup tutorials, where people highlight or make up their eyes and define their facial features and cheeks with blush and rouge.

Since its construction in the late 1960s, Gellerup and Toveshøj have developed into a socially deprived area. The Helhedsplan Gellerup describes the overall plan for transforming Gellerup and Toveshøj from a socially deprived residential area into an attractive neighborhood through radical physical changes.
