This sculpture was part of a group exhibition @ BIllyTown. 

It belongs to a series of sculptures that focuses on architecture and interior in a private room.

Raft belongs to a series of large-scale sculptures I made during 2007-2009. My intention was to construct complex, compact environment formed from simple formal wood elements, that in somehow are drifting floating in their own inner world, resonating shelter and self-sufficient comfort. Having in mind a fortress, the flags efficacy, room interior and shelter as a point of departure.
